Hans Hummels website

The goal was to create a new website for Hans Hummels Polska, an industrial packaging manufacturer that belongs to the German Hans Hummels GmbH group, in business since 1991. The site presents the company's full range: from cardboard boxes and octabins, through wooden and wood-and-metal crates, to metal structures, pallets and process services such as co-packing and rework. The project is based on a new brand identity and the tagline “Crafted with care.”, and at its core are a clear structure of the offer and a catalogue-style presentation of products on a uniform background. Line-drawn animations, an interactive industries section with pictograms and a contact form that shortens the path from the first visit to a quote request complete the picture.

Process

From challenge to finished project.

Challenge

Hans Hummels Polska offers a wide range: cardboard, wooden and metal packaging, pallets, as well as co-packing, rework and end-to-end production services across four sites in Poland. The previous website reflected neither the scale of the business nor its membership of an international group. The challenge was to present a complex, technical B2B offer in a simple, organised way. A customer from the automotive, metallurgy or cosmetics industry had to quickly find a solution for their product.

Goal

To create a modern, credible website that organises the offer into four clear areas and shows specific packaging for each industry. The site had to build trust in the brand and highlight the group's experience and its cooperation with logistics partner DM Logis. Most importantly, it had to make contact easy, so a quote request could be sent from any page.

Solution

I designed a new logo and brand identity, followed by a website built on a consistent design system in the company colours: brown and orange. The home page combines video and scrolling photos in the hero section with line-drawn animations: a box that draws itself before the user's eyes and a diagram of the cooperation process. The industries section consists of interactive tiles with custom pictograms that reveal sample packaging when clicked. All product photos were cut out and made uniform, so the offer looks like a catalogue. Subpages present each area of the offer with specifications and applications. The whole site is responsive, fast, SEO-ready and GDPR-compliant, with a privacy policy and a form with consents.
